Bought PLTR at $78 last Monday because "defense stocks only go up." Down 14% this week after the CEO sold shares on Wednesday. I did not see the Form 4 filing until my coworker texted me a screenshot with a crying laughing emoji. Holding 200 shares at a cost basis of $78. Current price: $67.08. Unrealized loss: -$2,184. My thesis was that the NATO spending cycle would sustain enterprise contract growth through Q3. The thesis might still be correct. The timing was garbage. I should have waited for the insider selling window to close. Not selling. Either this recovers to $80 by August or I hold it as a reminder that "the trend is obvious" is not a thesis.
